Estimates, not guarantees
The numbers come from the published Canada Revenue Agency amounts for the 2026-27 benefit year and are verified against the CRA's own child and family benefits calculator. We work hard to keep them accurate, but they are estimates. Your actual benefit depends on figures only the CRA holds — your assessed Adjusted Family Net Income, your exact family situation, and any adjustments CRA applies. We don't guarantee the figures, and the only number that counts is the one on your CRA notice.
CGEB amounts
The Canada Groceries and Essentials Benefit (CGEB) replaced the GST/HST credit in July 2026. The amounts the calculator uses for CGEB are based on the announced figures and are subject to final CRA confirmation. Treat the CGEB line as an estimate that may move once the CRA publishes its finalized amounts.
